Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. The 5th National Conference of the Eco-Schools Program began today at the Teachers’ Development Palace. The conference has been attended by about 300 people, including students, teachers, administrators, employees of relevant ministries, and 15 representatives of the international Eco-Schools Program from Russia.

The 4th National Conference of the Eco-Schools Program has begun. This international program, which disseminates knowledge and skills on sustainable development and green development to children, youth, and local communities, and teaches them socially responsible activities, within the framework of the 17 global sustainable development goals, is being implemented in approximately 52,000 schools in 67 countries around the world.

On the 8th and 9th of this month, the 3rd National Conference of the “Eco School” Program was held at the International Children’s “Nairamdal” Complex. More than 300 teachers, students, and administrators from eco schools and kindergartens, as well as representatives from the Ministry of Environment, the provincial and Ulaanbaatar education departments, the World Foundation for Environmental Education, and the German Technical Cooperation, participated.
